How do I go about joining a region and chapter?

SSA Chapters are members only. Your SSA member data doesn’t show any chapter affiliation. Check the SSA Where-To-Fly Map. https://www.ssa.org/where-to-fly-map/ You appear to be midway between Texas Soaring Association and Shreveport Soaring Club. TSA is large and SSC is small. A lapsed SSA Business Member, Big Q Aviation, is located at Midway-Midlothian Airport. Regions are SSA geographic representations. Not sure they are yet open for joining or discussions.

OK. I’ll contact SSA, as they are an hour closer driving distance and I’ve been in contact with them in the past.

An administrator could add you, but I don’t think Region group administrators have been assigned yet. This is still an issue with the new web site.
