This AD includes M26 airplanes in any category. This airplane could be used as a towplane in the US. The issue is the fracturing of the fuselage and loss of empennage. No ferry permits are allowed for this defect after the effective date.
This airworthiness directive (AD) becomes effective February 24, 2006.
