This AD includes almost all DG-800Bs and DG-500MBs, check by serial number.
The issue is the shearing of starter ring drive gear bolt heads. These should be replaced with a change to the assembly. Compliance is required within 30 days.
This airworthiness directive (AD) becomes effective February 7, 2006.
