AD Issued on DG-100, -400, -500 & -500M, 2006- 02-12; Rudder bearing.
This AD includes all DG-100 and –400s, and many DG-500 Elan and –500M gliders in any airworthiness category. This AD requires you to modify or replace the complete rudder mount assembly and ensure that the securing washer, castellated nut, and new split pins are installed.
Compliance for newly installed parts must be within 25 hours time in service from the effective date. This airworthiness directive (AD) becomes effective March 15, 2006.
