The seminars will be held on Thursdays beginning at 6 PM Mountain Time. They will be presented every two weeks, starting Thursday January 15th and running through May 7th. The sessions will be on-line. The sessions will be 1.5 – 2.5 hours in duration. Most sessions should be about 2 hours. Our FAAST Team members (Quay Snyder, Alice Palmer, & Mark Palmer) are working to get these seminars approved for FAA WINGS credit. Description: For all sailplane pilots looking to begin XC soaring or improve their knowledge and skill. Dr. Quay Snyder, CFI, will discuss hydration, nutrition, elimination, oxygenation, thermal regulation, and vision issues for sailplane pilots planning long distance XC flights.
