Region 2 North - Saturday Weather Forecast 6/9

High pressure ridging in from Canada and western New York.   The weak cold front that came through during the day on Friday is stalled near the New Jersey/Delaware border and seems to be blocked from backing up by the building high.
Boundary layer 5,000-6,000 feet through the northern half of the task area with some hints of 7,000 in the Catskills.    Once we hit the mid 70s should see decent thermals 3-4kts.
Again we have cirrus issues, with bands of Ci wrapping around the Canadian high.    Models call for anything from thin, to scattered, to broken CI,  and this will be the primary determinant of how good the day actually gets.   Cu should be few to scattered (less than yesterday) at around 5,000-6,000.
Light out of the west at under 10kts for most of the task area.
