Club Class National - Saturday Weather

Surface warm front sliding over the area during the course of the day.    Associated upper level short wave/trough forming and driving some chance of severe weather.   Clouds from this system and blow-off from significant convective storms in the Midwest area already overspreading the area.

Models show a shallow boundary layer of 3000 – 4000 feet without a strong capping inversion.

Lots of them.   All shapes/sizes/flavors.

Southwest 10-15 at the surface veering to Northwest at 9000 feet and above.

Showers and thunderstorms likely any time after noon.    Increasing likelihood of stronger storms as the front passes overhead.   Gliders and trailers should be secured.
