Region 6 South - Contest Day 3 - Complete
It turns out that the couse to the southeast for the FAI turned out to be weaker than expected and although everyone in the class finished, their speeds were slower than some of those in sports class. Those that did well got high and stayed high and had no struggles with the course. Despite some jumbling within the day, our leaders are still the same ones (Curt Lewis in Sports and Jeff Russell in FAI Handicapped) from day1, although the scores are getting narrower.
Our scorer Poul Pedersen noted that one way to ensure good weather, is to keep Frank from flying in the contest. It seems to work as the next four days are looking awesome.
