18 Meter Nationals - Day 3 Morning Report

Ray Gimmmey won again yesterday with an impressive ~277 mile, 77 mph flight.  Gary Ittner and William Elliott were 2nd and third respectively.  Overall, Ray is in first, with Tom Kelley second and William Elliott third.

Today the conditions are forecast to be similar to the last several days; 3-6 knots lift, thermal tops of 8-9000 ft, with very little wind aloft.  The warming trend continues and we expect a high of 93 degrees today with no clouds.   Tomorrow is expected to be hotter.

The task call today is a 4 turn TAT with 15 mile cylinders on all turns.  The turns, in order, are:  Creston, Waterville, Wilbur, and Mansfield.  The task is a nominal 260 miles, with a minimum of 156 and a maximum of 375 miles.
