Dale Igram, from the Central Indiana Soaring Society makes an aerobatic flight with a Blanik L-23. A final approach using high-speed parasitic drag is perfect finish for such a flight.

I got caught in the rain during a flight in Central Indiana. The plane flew very nicely with wet wings. As a reward, it received the best wash ever. Keep your speed up and your turns coordinated.

Ron Clarke wanted to show me that flying 5 miles without circling CAN result in no altitude lost. It's easy. All you have to do is fly as well as he does. We'll try :)

My old friend Don Reid invited me to fly as I was just a student. I learned how to make a passenger enjoy the flight instead of just "tolerate" it.
