June 6 - A trip to the SPAM museum

We awoke to overcast skies and radar graphics on the computer showing storms headed this way.  By the time we got to the airport, it was raining and the wind had picked up.  The storm system setting up SW of us is taking shape and there is little hope for flying today and a very slim chance tomorrow.

After helping to disassemble a couple of open class ships, we head a few miles down I-90 to Austin, home to Hormel and the SPAM museum.  This is a top-notch facility, with the history of Hormel, focusing on SPAM, and of course, a fully stocked gift shop with hundreds of SPAM labeled memorabilia.

Here's hoping for a break in the weather so we can get in a day of soaring and make the contest official.
