Your Sport Needs You! The mission of the Soaring Society of America is to Foster and Promote the Sport of Soaring. Ours is a volunteer organization and we rely in large part on our members to help fulfill this important task. Please take a moment to consider how you can help.

Share your sport with the World! Give the gift of a Soaring magazine subscriptions to a qualified institution such as your local or school library. This is a great way for you to help educate your community about our amazing sport AND the entire $46 cost of the subscription is fully tax deductable! Call the office to order at 505-392-1177.

The SSA will support your participation in local community events such as Airshows or Conventions. The hobbs office can supply on request promotional materials (see below) and limited quantites of back issues of Soaring magazine.
