AD Issued on Robin R2160; 2008-09-01, wing spar bolts.

This AD applies to Robin R2160s, serial numbers one through 378.

Disassemble the wings from the fuselage and inspect the junction for corrosion and fatigue damage per the factory service bulletin of December 1999.  Wing to fuselage retaining bolts may need replacement. 

This inspection must be done within 100 hours time-in-service of May 27, 2008, or 3500 hours total time whichever occurs later.  This AD inspection recurs each 750 hours.  There are some alternative intervals based on airframe updates and total time.  There is also a component of recurring inspections for wing bolt torque at 50 and 100 hours.

This airworthiness directive (AD) becomes effective May 27, 2008.
