Mike Koerner - 2001 Barringer Winner

Mike Koerner's 545.96 mile flight on May 26, 2001 is the winner of the 2001 Barringer Trophy. The Barringer Trophy is simply the longest straight line flight in any glider, no handicap, during the year. Mike's flight from Crystalaire, CA to Heber City, UT was an outstanding achievement. In second place was Erik Larson, 525.01 miles from Warner Springs, CA to Winnemuca, NV on May 23, 2001. Congratulations to both pilots on outstanding flights.
