FAA Relaxing Rules Around Class B Airspace

Oct. 13 - Beginning this week the FAA will permit limited VFR operations in and around some Enhanced Class B areas. Not all Class B will be affected. Notably New York and Washington DC will retain the higher level of restrictions. Non-transponder equipped aircraft will be able to operate VFR in the areas with relaxed restrictions but a specific waiver will be required. Look for more details by Monday.
