How To Avoid an F-16 in Your Gaggle

The Department of Defense is prepared to scramble interceptors to contact and escort any aircraft that violates the rules of controlled airspace. Contrary to our headline, this is very serious business. The DOD is prepared to take all actions necessary to protect controlled airspace including, as a last resort, the possibility of firing on a violating aircraft. Please stay current on all rules and stay within the proper areas. Violations no longer simply involve possible revocation of your license and fines. The very real possibility of conflict with military aircraft exists.
