Charles L. Jones - Former Louisiana SSA Governor

I need to write you that Charles L. Jones died August 1, 1998 and I am enclosing his obituary. My husband was a dedicated soaring pilot as well as a private pilot. He built a primary glider in college (LSU) in the early thirties. He built a 1-26 from a Schweizer kit; then bought a 2-32 and a 2-33. He was Louisiana SSA Governor for many years and did what he could to interest people in soaring and to help however he could.

As a family we have some good memories of conventions, contests, and good friends.
