Standard Class Nationals - Practice Day 2

Today was a no fly day. A line of storms approaching the DFW Metroplex prompted several pilots to disassmble their gliders between 5-8am before a gust front hit. There was some rain but nothing significant that will affect us during the next week.

Many pilots rested or worked on their sailplanes and the group rejoined at the clubhouse for some BBQ for supper and the safety briefing.

The long term forecast looks to be in our favor. Tomorrow we will have a northerly flow but if SkySight is to be believed, we should see 5 kt lift up to 7,000'.
