18-Meter National Championships - This Could be a Good One

The weather forecast for the day is different than the past few days.  Lower cloud bases and some chance of rain will really put the pilots to a test today.  We have a 2:30 TAT that keeps us mainly to the west and north west where the better conditions prevail.  We may be watering the grass on the grid or the runway for the launch depending on how much of an optimist you are.  Grid time is in 30 minutes so I'm off.  Tonight we have a Cinco de Mayo celebration by the pool at the Glider House.  Shawn and Connie are always great hosts and we thank Mihai Tanjala, Seminole Lake Gliderport owner, for buying the ham and turkey.  See there by the pool.  Look for the posts on the SSA Facebook site.
