Region 10 South - Pre-Practice Day Report

Blue skies and cooler temperatures greeted the early arrivals. CD Ken Sorenson stated that it would be a pretty good day and it was! A four turn TAT formed a nice Texas Star and kept everyone farily close in. Climbs to over 7K were achieved to the north with weaker climbs in the blue. The only negative was that the day died very early with several land-outs for those who were still caught out at 5pm.

A wonderfull pot luck BBQ and a much needed swim in the club pool rounded out a very nice day at the Soaring Club of Houston.
