Region 4 North - No Contest Day

Pilots awoke to a gray, misty sky today.   While we are an eternally optimistic bunch,   it was hard to find anything positive in today's weather pattern.  In fact, the forecast was summarized (in absentia) by Richard Kellerman as follows:  "Note that the weatherman has gone home.   But he left his trailer behind."

The next couple of days are going to be influenced by a monster low pressure system over the central United States.    Models are not yet in tight agreement as to when it starts to move, but as of now, it looks like Thursday is our next chance of soarable weather, and even that is highly uncertain.  When the low does lift out, it is progged to head north and east, which usually presages good ridge weather.   Fingers crossed.
