Standard Class Nationals - Afternoon report

The final day for our two Chilhowee contests is yet another day of difficult (but flyable) weather in eastern Tennessee.

The cirrus that was predicted for yesterday but never appeared decided to put in an appearance today.  Turn-Area tasks that would have sent all pilots south have been shortened and changed to favor the north and west, in hopes that a window of decent sun will allow a couple of hours of motorless flight.  High humidity is producing more than ample cumulus clouds, mostly with low bases and indistinct shapes that signify weak lift.
