Standard Class Nationals - Afternoon report

Today's forecast was not highly encouraging - it called for mostly blue thermals to perhaps 4500' MSL, ending early.  But at 3pm the sky looks a bit better than that (scattered cumulus), and pilots have set off on a Modified Assigned Task that should allow them to adjust their flights to the conditions they find. 

Initial reports indicate 3-kt lift to above 4500', so perhaps we're entitled to hope that today will yield a high percentage of complete tasks.
