Standard Class Nationals - Evening report

"Reasonably good until it wasn't" seemed to be a common sentiment today.  What was predicted to be a long-lasting day came to an early end, leading to no completions of the day's Assigned Task.

An extensive blue hole on the third leg was the downfall of many.  Three pilots managed to tiptoe through this and to reach home having collected 4 of the 6 turnpoints and around 110 miles.  But no one found much lift after 5pm - another good hour would have been needed to achieve the full 160 miles.
