18 Meter/Standard Class Nationals - Contest Day 3 evening report

Both classes had successful days although some found the Radar turn a challenge.

UR had radio challenges so flew Task A. Rex is working on it now so at least his radio will be fully functioning for the Worlds.

Scoring is still going on but preliminary results show some great speeds so far - Gary Ittner 254 miles at 81.64 mph; Peter Deane 223 miles at 77.75 mph. Bob Fletcher decided to be conventional and go to the turnpoints in the correct order and achieved 219.45 miles at 77.17mph.

That's all for today!
