Air Sailing Sports Class Contest - Day 2 at the Air Sailing Sports Class Contest

We had slightly less wind today, and a bit of moisture to mark the lift sources with occasional short-lived wisps.  Lift strength and conditions a bit better than yesterday, most thermals still chopped up, but workable.   We called a 2.5 hr TAT with fairly large cylinders at Silver Springs, Herlong, and Tracy Pwr.  Everyone flew fairly close together, more gaggle flying than we typically see in Sports Class.  The best evidence of this is that we recovered the whole fleet in about 10 minutes - Kudo's to the ground crews for keeping a clear deck.  Winner for the day was Cadet Corbin Boyles flying one of the Air Force Discus-2's.
