1-26 Championships - Practice Day Report

In this joint contest, Day 1 of the World Class proved to be better than expected.  A modest turn area task gave winner Francois Pin a chance to set the pace, with a speed of 38.77 mph.  Concern of over development kept most of the practice-day 1-26 competitors close to the airport, but special recognition goes to Ken Ekman, who drove his 1-26 around the World Class task for a handicapped speed of 26.55 mph.
